Batch Photo and image Processing


Photo processing is a technique followed by a number of photographers, in order to add extra enhancement to the image. The process of converting, editing and processing an image has been a challenging and a time consuming task for the photographers. The batch photo processing technique provides you the means of processing a number of images within a single operation called the “drag and drop”. It performs certain functions like scaling, conversion and so on to give a different dimension for the image. Some of the key features often associated with batch photo processing are, it is intuitive, fast, flexible, recursive and a lot more.
Batch Image Processing is used to resize, covert an image from a particular file format to another. This mechanism takes place by loading an image in a so called editor, which makes the alterations that are required for the image. The problem with this approach is that, it can process only a single image at a time rather than a folder of images. Therefore batch image processing is done using Python. It helps the photographers to process a number of images in batch. It makes use of the PNG2GIF converter to process the images. Such a processing has allowed converting the images into different perspectives
